Year-End Tax Update

Our programming team is currently working on this year’s IRS tax update. 

Every year the IRS makes changes and additions to the tax file for 1099’s. We review those changes, make updates to the stockholder program, test it, and then submit the tax file for approval from the IRS. Usually, our release is mid-late December. 

We send an email with the update information each year. If you have had personnel changes or would like to verify that we have the correct contact information for your company, please send us an email at info@cambridge-tech.com.

Stockholder Software – New Look, New Features

New products/features we have included in our next major release of the Cambridge Stockholder Software. Small changes such as Label / Headings and bug fixes will not be included in this list. Here are some of new capabilities we have added:

New products/features we have included in our next major release of the Cambridge Stockholder Software. Small changes such as Label / Headings and bug fixes will not be included in this list. Here are some of new capabilities we have added: 

 

  • The most obvious change is the New Look and Feel. We have updated our desktop icon to the one pictured above – as well as updated the look of our navigation menu. The same menu items you have used in the past – just a fresh, new look! The tables, buttons, and other features have a new look as well.  

  • Manage Stockholder and Display viewed all within Manage Stockholder now. With Security turned on, Users with Permissions to only view Display Stockholders will be allowed to view all the Stockholder Data as a view-only capacity. 

  • Certificate Grid – Transfer, move, surrender certificates to another stockholder (or many) from one location. 

  • Certificates may now be printed from within the Stockholder program instead of processing through Mail Merge. Your Certificate / Book Entry setup will have to be added to the program.

  • Reports Menu given a new look.  Condensed reports into four categories, with submenus. 

  • Check Register with recorded Check numbers, VOIDs and Reprinting 

  • Check MICR printing is now available 

  • Updated ReportCreator report with all available fields plus saving Report Format
